Established and run by two Mexican women, Mercedes de Maria Genoveva Pedrero Setzer and Daniela Novelo Iñiguez, working across coasts and borders to bring these unique pieces to life. The brand works with various artisan workshops across Mexico to co-create every style using local materials and ancestral design techniques.

Daniela Novelo Iñiguez & Genoveva Pedrero Setzer
Genoveva Pedrero lives in Brooklyn, NY and has been working in the fashion industry for 8+ years. Before founding de María, she worked as a production manager at Brother Vellies while pursuing her Master's degree at Parsons School of Design. Daniela Novelo lives in Ensenada, Baja California and has a background in marketing and social media management. Both women work together to run the business and collaborate with artisans to make the one of a kind pieces that celebrate their Mexican culture and traditions.
